Nokia launched the updated version of its iconic 3310 device in May, 2017 in India with a lot of cool new features.
The almost-’unbreakable’ favourite phone of the people is now back with a better design colours and new tech specs. The phone now packs a 2MP rear camera with flash and comes with an internal storage of 16MB. The storage is expandable upto 32GB (microSD).
With dual micro-SIM slots and Bluetooth (v 3.0), the phone’s connectivity side is quite good – albeit, with the absence of WiFi which is okay for a phone of the given specs.
The phone runs on the Series 30 OS. It also has an in-built FM/radio and has a 2.4 inch polarized and curved screen window allows better readability in sunlight.
The phone uses a micro-USB port for charging.
The 1200 mAh battery also packs in huge service of stand-by upto a month (and upto 22 hours talktime).
Nokia 3310 comes in different colours like warm red and yellow (glossy finish) and dark blue and grey (matte finish).
The phone is priced at €49 (on the website).
Available in India from May 18, the phone, interestingly, is priced at Rs. 3310.
The phone is great for those looking for good calling and music experience in a compact device made with simplicity in mind. The basic calling features with the added ones of music and camera make it really good as a backup phone- whether it is in-city or for travelling.
Plus, there is always the nostalgia factor – the Nokia brand and the 3310.
