Chinese phone manufacturer Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is rumoured to be launching another smartphone in India soon, around Diwali 2017.
While some speculations and rumours are rife on the internet hinting at a bezel-less 4-camera setup smartphone, other posts are hinting at the launch of the Honor 9 device.
The launch of a quad-camera (two front and two rear) system phone seems pretty likely since a similar phone Huawei Nova 2i was launched recently in Malaysia and it is quite possible that a similar one might be launched in India soon.
It is worth noting that none of the major tech news websites (NDTV, GadgetsNow, etc) have published any news regarding the rumoured Honor 9 launch, but IndiaToday recently posted about the bezel-less 4-camera Huawei India launch of the phone.
No official confirmation has been received till now regarding the expected Huawei India Launch.
However, as per the launch invites there will be a launch event in Goa in 4-6 October, so it might be a pre-launch bash with the final launch around Diwali – which is the usual style of the company.
The much-awaited and expected launch of Huawei P10, the successor of Huawei P9 launched in India last August, 2017, has also not taken place and no reasons are known,
yet, for the delay.
In other news, Huawei is launching its Mate 10 device at an event in Germany on October 16, 2017.
It is also launching Honor 7X, the successor of Honor 6X, on October 11 in China. The device comes with an 18:9 ratio display and is expected to have the Kirin 670 SoC.
